An adorable pendant/charm from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in sleek platinum, this piece resembles a small flower basket! The basket is "filled" with 6 diamonds, which vary in size. The largest diamond is a prong-set, mine cut diamond, which has a carat weight of .30ct. The remaining 5 stones, which are bead-set, are old single cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of .12ctw. The body of the basket features filigree-detailing, which mimics wicker. The base of the basket features a single, bezel-set, baguette cut sapphire. The deep, luscious blue hue of the sapphire wonderfully contrasts the platinum setting. The backside of the pendant/charm features a hidden bail, which would allow the piece to easily attach to a favorite chain. A darling pendant/charm, this piece wold make a special addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The pendant/charm has a height of 3/4" and a width of just under 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set. The hidden bail is intact and in working order.
