A unique Edwardian (ca 1910s) era opal ring! Crafted in platinum, the ring displays a marquise cut Australian white opal in a four double-prong claw setting. The opal flashes vibrant hues of blue, green, and yellow with incredible depth and pattern, weighing 3.00ct. The shoulders of the ring are adorned with floral motif etchings, which further add to the overall charm of the piece. Additionally, the raised gallery displays a unique scalloped design. Completing the attractive design is a simple platinum band. This wonderful piece would be a striking addition to any opal collection!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 6.5 but can easily be resized. The moonstone centerpiece measures slightly less than 3/8" long by 3/4" tall and, when worn, rests slightly more than 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The ring is overall in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The opal is free of chips and scratches and is securely set.
