Edwardian Russian 14k Diamond Engagement Ring .40ct

A unique engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a solitaire, bezel-set diamond. The .40ct old European cut diamond is simply wonderful, displaying J color and SI1 clarity. The sparkling stone is surrounded by a floral-motif frame, which features 2, additional foliage-motif embellishments. The shoulders of the ring feature a foliage-motif design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank features a "583" purity mark, a "tt" hallmark, and an eagle's head hallmark. These markings indicate that the piece is Russian in origin. Measurements: The ring is currently a size 6.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.63mm.
