A fantastic and colorful pair of earrings from the Georgian (ca1750s) era! Crafted in 14k and sterling silver, these earrings begin with gold lever backs, which lead to a short length of chain. The chain extension is adorned with 2 bezel-set rose cut diamonds. The earrings then feature a large, elaborate link. The center of the link features a solitaire collet-set diamond, which is surrounded by a sterling flower. Each petal of the flower is decorated with a bezel-set rose cut diamond. The petals are further decorated with lovely texturizing-engravings. The central flower is surrounded by a circular frame, which is comprised of prong-set sapphires and pearls. The sapphires display a deep blue hue, and have an approximate total carat weight of 1ctw. The pearls display a lovely milky-white luster. The top and bottom of the central link feature an additional half floral-motif, which is decorated with additional rose cut diamonds. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .65ctw. A striking pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2 1/16" long and measure just over 3/4" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling setting, and the lever backs are secure and in working order. All of the stones are secure and intact.
