A gorgeous chain necklace from the Georgian (ca1750s) era! Crafted in 15kt yellow gold, this chain is comprised of interlocking oval links that are woven together to create a twisted rope design. Each link is intricately detailed with a floral motif. Securing the necklace is a barrel clasp featuring ornate Etruscan detail, striking the perfect balance between the delicate golden wire and beadwork. A beautiful example of Georgian-era jewelry, this chain would be an incredible addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 17" in length and is slightly less than 3/16" in diameter.
Condition: The necklace is in excellent antique condition. Other than normal surface wear and a few dented links, there is no significant damage to the chain. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition.Out of stock
