A gorgeous diamond ring from the Georgian (ca1750s) era! Crafted in 15k yellow gold and sterling silver, this ring features 3 diamonds running horizontally across the ring's front surface. The central, larger stone is a rose cut diamond, which rests within an 8-prong setting, and has a carat weight of 1.00ct The central stone is bordered on both sides by two, smaller rose cut diamonds, which are held in place by 4-prong settings. Together, the two additional foil-backed diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .10ctw. The diamonds display H color and SI1-SI2 clarity. The shoulders of the ring feature intricate floral motif etchings, which add to the dainty appeal of the piece. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A gorgeous 3-stone ring, this Georgian piece would make for a lovely engagement ring or anniversary gift!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5 but could easily be resized. The center stone rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
