A breathtaking diamond navette ring from the Georgian (ca1750s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and sterling silver, this ring features a pill-shaped navette centerpiece. The centerpiece features 3, large rose cut diamonds, which are aligned vertically. Together, the collet-set diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 2.70ctw. The central diamonds are surrounded by an exterior border of additional, collet-set rose cut diamonds, which are wonderfully faceted. Together, the exterior "halo" features .60ctw of diamonds. Overall, the diamonds display I/J color and SI1-SI2 clarity. The shoulders of the ring each feature a single, bead-set rose cut diamond and subtle, texturizing-engravings. The outside of the shank features a feather-motif hallmark. The backside of the ring's centerpiece also features blooming floral-motif engravings, which decorate the backside of the larger diamond's collet-settings. A once-in-a-lifetime find, this ring would be perfect for any Georgian jewelry lover!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.9mm. The centerpiece has a height of 1 1/16" and a width of 1/2".
Condition:The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the yellow gold and sterling silver setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
