A breathtaking pair of earrings from the Georgian (ca1790s) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold and topped in sterling silver, these stunning earrings each begin with a glittering round Rose Cut diamond in a patinaed collet setting. Hanging below is an incredible Pear Shaped Rose Cut diamond in a matching sterling collet setting. These earrings are absolutely gorgeous and frame the face beautifully as the Rose Cut triangular facets catch the light. Worn with a simple yellow gold earring wire, this magnificent pair would be a beautiful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1 1/4" when worn, 1" long (excluding the earring wire). The round collet setting measures slightly more than 5/16" in diameter and 1/4" deep. The pear-shaped collet measures 9/16" tall, 3/8" wide, and 1/4" deep.
Condition: The earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The earring wires are secure.
