A magnificent pair diamond earrings from the Georgian (ca1750s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, these earrings begin with a floral-motif surmount, which is centered by a prong-set rose cut diamond. The lower link of the earrings, which is circular in shape, is also encrusted with prong-set rose cut diamonds. The stones are wonderfully faceted, and add to the antique appeal of the earrings. The earrings are completed by simple posts and friction backs, which are stamped "STERLING". An eye-catching pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1" tall and have a width of 5/8".
Condition: The earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact, and the posts and friction backs are in working order.
