Wonderful and unusual hematite cufflinks from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted with 18kt white gold, each double-sided cufflink is comprised of two round hematite discs that have a single diamond set in the center. Each diamond is bezel set in a milgrained 18kt white gold setting, riveted into the center of the hematite stone, which has a slightly concave face. Collectively, the overall diamond weight of both pairs of cufflinks is approximately 0.40ctw. Connecting the hematite faces is a section of 18kt white gold chain, which is stamped with a small makers mark, allowing the cufflinks to easily slide through a French cuff button hole. These beautiful cufflinks would look stunning worn by a man or woman and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each hematite face measures a little more than 1/2" in diameter and approximately 1/4” thick. The connecting chain links measure approximately 3/4" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, including a few very minor chips along the rim of the cufflink faces, there is no serious damage to the hematite discs or white gold and all 4 diamonds are intact.
