A fantastic ring from the Late Victorian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold, this oval-shaped ring features a beautifully enameled, detailed face of an Egyptian man. He dons a nemes (the traditional headwear of ancient Egyptian royalty), which is adorned by gorgeous blue and green enameling. Lines of the vibrant 18kt yellow gold separate each enamel stripe, framing his beautifully detailed face. A black and gold choker and white apparel complete his handsome look. This ring would be perfect for any Egyptian Revival collector, and would make a very impressive addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The centerpiece measures nearly 1" tall , 11/16" wide, and rests 1/8" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The face has been securely hand-soldered to the ring. The enamel is intact and in very good condition.
