A wonderful sterling silver key pendant from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! English in origin, the pendant forms the shape of an old-fashioned skeleton key with an open handle and a long barrel shaft. The bottom of the key features lightly engraved, simple detail and a plain silver body. The backside of the key's head features a series of English hallmarks and maker's mark reading "J.C & S." A stylish piece with a lovely Victorian appearance, this charming key pendant would look perfect hanging from a favorite sterling chain and worn everyday!
Measurements: The key measures approximately 2 1/2" long. At widest, the key measures 3/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the key pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting or swiveling parts, and the ring for hanging is secure.
