A unique Retro (ca 1950s) era opal ring! Crafted in platinum, the ring displays an oval-shaped Australian white opal in a four prong claw setting. The opal flashes vibrant hues of blue, green, and yellow with incredible depth and pattern, weighing 3.20ct. Six baguette cut diamonds flank the opal, with three staggered on each side, totaling approximately 0.24ctw. The raised gallery displays intricate scrolling patterns and delicate etchings. Completing the attractive design is a simple, highly polished knife edge band, the inside of which is stamped with "3.20 . 024", denoting the stones' carat weights, and "P.M". This wonderful piece would be a striking addition to any opal collection!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 6 but can easily be resized. The ring's design measures slightly less than 3/4" long by 5/8" tall and, when worn, rests slightly more than 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The ring is overall in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The opal is free of chips and scratches and is securely set. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
