A fabulous pair of signed Riker Brothers cufflinks from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and platinum, each cufflink face features a stone, which is held within a bead setting, and bordered by a square-shaped frame decorated with milgrained detailing. Two of the faces feature blue topaz stones, and the other two feature a single cut diamond. The cufflink faces also each feature a gold circle, which is adorned with a woven design. The gold inner-circles are bordered by a platinum border, which features intricate hand carvings, which depict small bows and leaf motifs. The cufflinks are connected by small gold connectors, which are each marked with a "14K" purity mark and the Riker Brothers maker's mark. The backs of the cufflink faces also feature a personalization, which reads: "A.K.M & R. JR". A truly marvelous pair of cufflinks, this piece would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each cufflink face measures little under 3/8" in diameter and is 1/8" thick. The connector links measure approximately 7/8" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting. All of the diamond and topaz stones are secure and intact. The connectors are secure and in working order.
