A marvelous locket from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This stunning piece is crafted in vibrant 10k yellow gold and features a smooth and simple surface. The center of the front of the piece features a single bead-set mine cut diamond. The diamond has an approximate total carat weight of .05ct, and is surrounded by a starburst-motif etching. The front of the locket also features a beaded border. The top of the locket features a complementary bail, which would allow the piece to easily attach to a favorite gold chain. The locket opens and closes with a hidden latch at the side of the piece, and the inside features ample room to store small photographs or mementos. A timeless piece, this locket would make a lovely addition to any Victorian-era collection!
Measurements: The locket has a diameter of 1" and a depth of just over 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no damage to the gold locket. The diamond and complementary bail are both secure and intact. The locket opens and closes securely.
