A darling pair of earrings from the Victorian (ca1810s) era! Crafted in 12k yellow gold, each earring begins with a diamond-encrusted surmount. Each surmount features a collet-set rose cut diamond, which are both further surrounded by a scalloped-plaque. The earrings then feature a foliage-motif, which features 2 leaves each adorned with a singular bead-set rose cut diamond. The earrings then feature a horseshoe-shaped link, which is comprised of small, three-dimensional gold balls. The interior of each horseshoe-shaped link features a dangling, collet-set old mine cut diamond. Overall, the rose cut diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .25ctw. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires, which clasp closed. A dainty pair, these earrings would make a splendid addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 1" long (including the earring wires) and have a width of 3/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the earring wires, which open and close securely. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
