Victorian 14k Amethyst Ring

A lovely amethyst ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a central, bezel-set, emerald cut amethyst stone. The amethyst displays a lovely purple hue, which wonderfully contrasts the yellow gold mounting. The shoulders and gallery of the ring feature delicate filigree-detailing, and the bezel-setting is decorated with texturizing engravings. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features a "14K" purity mark.
