The snake has been a powerful image since the Victorian era and continues to be popular even in modern jewelry. It has been an inspiration for jewelry design for ages, often used to symbolize eternity, everlasting love, life and protection.
A magnificent snake ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k gold, the front surface of this ring is represented by four intertwining serpents. The bodies of the serpents are further decorated with texturizing engravings, and the remainder of the band features a split design. An extraordinary piece, this ring would make a fantastic addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a 9 but could be resized. The band has a width of 4.6mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the all of the rose cut diamonds are secure and intact.
