A gorgeous pair of emerald and diamond earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a bezel-set rose cut diamond surmount. The earrings then feature a larger, dangling component which is decorated with a prong-set cushion cut emerald. Together, the emeralds have an approximate total carat weight of .70ctw, and display a bright, luscious green hue. Each emerald is surrounded by a halo of prong-set rose cut diamonds. The diamonds are magnificently faceted, and catch the light with every turn of the head! The earrings are completed by back-to-front earring wires, which are marked with an "E" maker's mark. A colorful pair, these earrings would look lovely worn on any individual!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 3/4" long (including the earring wires) and measures just under 1/2" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set. The back-to-front earring wires are secure and in working order.
