A fantastic Victorian (ca1880s) era snake stickpin! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, the top of this stick pin features a double-headed snake! The body of the double-headed snake is decorated with texturizing engravings, and the eyes of the creature are represented by prong-set emerald. The emerald displays a vibrant, luscious green hue. A single, prong-set old mine cut diamond rests between the snake's dual heads, and a prong-set pearl is located within the open space between the two sides of the snake. The pearl displays a grayish-white luster. The steam of the piece is smooth and simple. A unique and colorful piece, this stick pin would make a lovely addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The entire stickpin measures 2 1/2" long, and the double-headed snakes have a width of 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting. The emeralds, diamond, and pearl are all intact and securely set.
