A gorgeous pair of turquoise earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 14k yellow gold, these earrings feature a crown-shaped surmount, which is decorated with small three-dimensional gold balls, and Etruscan wirework. The surmount also features 6 square-shaped turquoise cabochons, which are all channel-set. The earrings then feature a large mandala-shaped link, which is further adorned with small gold balls and scrolling wirework. The center of the mandala-shaped link features a rectangular-shaped panel, which features a vertical row of circles-motifs, and is completed by 3 teardrop-shaped wirework motifs. The rectangular-shaped link is surrounded by a halo of additional channel-set turquoise cabochons, and a scalloped border. The lowermost portion of the mandala-shaped link features 5 dangling links, which each feature a bezel-set turquoise cabochon. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A bold pair, these Victorian-era beauties would make a great addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/4" long (including the earring wires) and measure 7/8" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the turquoise cabochons are secure and intact. The earring wires are securely attached and in working order.
