A fantastic ring from the Late Victorian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14k rose gold, this ring features a faience centerpiece. The tan-hued faience has been carved to represent a scarab, and is held within a smooth and simple bezel-setting. Interestingly, the centerpiece "flips", giving the piece a unique flair. The shoulders of the ring feature a tulip-motif design, which seamlessly transitions into a knot-motif cutout design. The backside of the band feature a ribbed-design, and the inside of the shank features faded hallmarks. A bold piece, this ring would make a special addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.5, and could be resized slightly. The band has a width of 3.25mm, and the flip centerpiece has a height of 5/8" and a width of 1/2".
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The faience scarab is secure and intact, and the centerpiece flips without issue.
