A unique snake ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a central pyramid-shaped lapis lazuli cabochon. The lapis is simply marvelous displaying a royal blue hue and natural gold inclusions. The lapis is held in place by 4 snake-motif "prongs". Each snake features 2 small, bezel-set ruby eyes, which display a vibrant pinkish-red hue. Additionally, each serpent's head is decorated with a singular, bezel-set mine cut diamond. Together, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .20ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The shoulders and band of the ring are comprised by the interlocking bodies of the snakes. The inside of the shank features a "14K" purity mark. A phenomenal piece, this ring would make a bold addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 5, but could be resized slightly. The ring has a width of 3mm.
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
