Victorian 14k Moss Agate Pendant

A beautiful moss agate pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is set in 14k rosy yellow gold and has a simple, yet elegant design. The pendant begins with a 3-dimensional pyramid shaped link made of hand carved moss agate, which is held within a gold bezel. Dangling freely below the pyramid is an elongated teardrop carved from moss agate, which is smoothly polished and held within a gold cap at the top. The moss agate stone is translucent and clear, with natural moss-like inclusions floating inside. The pendant hangs from a simple yellow gold bail at the top, making it easy to hang and wear from a simple chain. Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the moss agate stones, all of which are intact. The bail is secure and in good working condition.
