A beautiful opal ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a navette-style centerpiece, which is encrusted with 11 opal cabochons. The opals vary slightly in size and shape, but are all prong-set. The opals display incredible flashes of green, red, orange, and blue. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with a "14K" purity mark. A colorful piece, this ring would make a stunning addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements:The ring is a size 6.5, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece has a height of 3/4" and a width of 1/2". The band has a width of 1.3mm.
Condition:The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting, and all of the opals are intact and securely set.
