A fabulous pair of pearl earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k gold, these earrings begin with a blooming floral-motif surmount, which is adorned with 9 seed pearls. The surmount is also decorated with small three-dimensional gold balls, which add wonderful texture to the links. The earrings then feature an ornate gold cap, which features foliage-motifs, three-dimensional balls, and the incorporation of both yellow and pink gold. Long tassels of seed pearls dangle from each cap, adding wonderful movement to the large earrings. The pearls display a lovely white luster, which wonderfully contrasts the gold setting. The earrings are competed by simple gold earring wires.
Measurements: Each earring hangs 3 1/2" long (including the wire).
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the pearl tassels are intact and securely strung. The earring wires are secure and in working order.
