A spectacular ruby and diamond halo ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a central, prong-set oval cut ruby. The ruby, which has an approximate total carat weight of .20ct, display a luscious pinkish-red hue. The ruby is encircled by a halo of 8 prong-set mine cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of .40tw. The diamonds display I/J color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features a "585" purity mark. A splendid ring, this piece would make a lovely addition to any ring collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.63mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The central rubies and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
