A striking ruby and diamond navette ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features an elongated, navette-style centerpiece, which is encrusted with sparkling stones. The center of the piece features a vertical row of 5 bead-set Burmese rubies. The rubies, which vary between round and cushion cuts, have an approximate total carat weight of 1.35ct, and display a vibrant pinkish-red hue. The remainder of the centerpiece is decorated with bead-set mine cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of 3ctw. The diamonds display G/J color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The shoulders of the ring feature a split-design, and are adorned with dainty milgrain-detailing. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features a "14K" purity mark. A gorgeous example of old world glamour, this piece would look lovely worn by any antique jewelry collector!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.25, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece has a height of 1 1/4" and a width of just under 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the rubies and diamonds are intact and securely set.
