An absolutely exquisite "belly" bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k rose gold and sterling silver, this bracelet features an elaborate "belly" centerpiece. The centerpiece features 3, vertically-arranged, prong-set rosed cut diamonds. The 3 diamonds rest atop a filigree-detailed base, which incorporates geometric cutout-motifs. The filigree plaque is bordered on both the left and right by a curling row of alternating, prong-set diamonds and sapphires. The interior spaces between the curling gemstone rows feature additional filigree-detailing, which is juxtaposed by a kite-shaped, diamond-encrusted plaque. The band of the bracelet is comprised of gold-toned square-shaped links, which are topped by an interior row of silver-toned rectangle-shaped links. The silver links are decorated with bead-set rose cut diamonds. Overall, the diamonds which adorn the piece have an approximate total carat weight of .60ctw, and the sapphires have an approximate total carat weight of 1ctw. The piece secures with a simple push clap, and the edge of the bracelet is decorated with illegible hallmarks. A highly-intricate piece, this bracelet would make a fantastic addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The bracelet has a total length of 6 5/8". The belly centerpiece has a length of 2" and a width of 1".
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling silver setting. All of the stones are intact and securely set, and the push clasp is secure and in working order.
