An absolutely superb pair of diamond earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and sterling silver, these earrings begin with a diamond surmount. Each surmount features a bezel-set rose cut diamond, which are then followed by 2 smaller, matching diamond links. The earrings then feature a stationary, bezel-set mine cut diamond, which is connected to a large teardrop-shaped link. The surface of the teardrop-shaped link is encrusted with bead-set rose cut diamonds. The center of the teardrop-shaped link features a single bezel-set mine cut diamond, and a foliage-motif, which is adorned with bead-set rose cut diamonds. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 2.5ctw. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A gorgeous pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event or occasion!

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/16" in total length, and measure 1/2".

Condition: The earrings remain in excellent antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling silver setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The earring wires are intact and in working order.
