A one-of-a-kind pendant from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k and sterling silver, this pendant features an oval-shaped mother of pearl plaque. The plaque features an intricate carving which depicts a winged cherub. The cherub features short, curling locks and is adorned in a loose, flowing garment. The mother of pearl displays an incredible luster, and features flashes of green, blue, and purple. The plaque is surrounded by an intricate, twisting frame, which is decorated with bezel and bead-set rose cut diamonds. The pendant is completed by a diamond-encrusted bail, which would allow the piece to easily attach to a Victorian-era chain. An adorable piece, this pendant would make a lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The piece has a height of 1 7/8" (including the complimentary bail) and a width of 1".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling silver setting. The mother of pearl plaque and diamonds are all intact and securely set, and the bail is in working order.
