Victorian 14k Turquoise and Diamond Heart Halo Necklace

A lovely turquoise necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is made of 14k yellow gold and is comprised of a delicate turquoise and diamond pendant that hangs from a fine gold chain. Forming the pendant is a single hand carved heart shaped turquoise cabochon which is set amidst a border of sparkling mine cut diamonds. The 20 diamonds have SI2-VS2 range clarity and H-I range color with an approximate total weight of 1.20ctw. The Victorian piece was originally a pin and has since been converted to a pendant, with a fine 14kt gold chain attached at the top of the heart. The combination of the lustrous diamonds and vibrant turquoise is quite striking and the pendant has a magnificent look when worn. This gorgeous necklace has a very feminine and beautiful design and would be lovely for everyday wear!

Measurements: The chain measures 18" long but can be worn by a 16.5" long and the heart centerpiece measures 3/4" tall, just over 1/2" wide and 1/4" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the chain, gold setting or to any of the stones, all of which are intact. The clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
