A fabulous turquoise and pearl navette ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, the piece features a navette centerpiece that is decorated with turquoise and pearl stones. Three pearls run vertically down the front of the centerpiece, and are held within six-prong settings. The pearls are held within an ellipse-shaped gold frame, which is decorated on both sides with five turquoise cabochons held within channel settings. The top and bottom of the centerpiece also feature a fan-shaped motif, with each end featuring another turquoise cabochon. The band of the ring is decorated with intricate scrolling motif etchings, which further add to the unique appeal of the ring. The inside of the shank features an engraved personalization which reads: "A.M. JUNE 1886". A truly magnificent Victorian piece, this ring would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 4, however it could be re-sized if desired. The centerpiece of the ring measures 3/4" tall, a little over 1/4" wide, and rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 4.5mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the turquoise and pearls are secure and intact.
