A gorgeous pendant from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 14kt yellow and rose gold, this piece displays a beautiful starburst design. Centering on a lustrous white pearl, glittering Rose Cut diamonds form the six arms of the star. The star rests atop a polished yellow gold oval which is encircled by open wirework, decorated by four Square Cut rubies and four Rose Cut diamonds in bezel settings. Slightly smaller than the center pearl, four matching pearls adorn the pendant. A ring of engraved rose gold adds dimension below, perfectly complimenting the lush red rubies and the design is completed by a 3-dimensional tulip border in yellow gold. A double bail hides behind the top of the piece, ready to be worn on a favorite chain. A feminine and ornate expression of a classic motif, this pendant would be perfect for any Victorian collection!
Measurements: The pendant measures approximately 1 5/8" tall, 1 5/16" wide, and an overall 7/16" deep excluding the bail.
Condition: The pendant is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The diamonds, rubies, and pearls are all free of chips and scratches and are securely set. The double bail is secure.
