Victorian 15k Carved Onyx Line Bracelet

A simply stunning onyx link bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous bracelet is comprised of rectangular onyx links, which wrap around half the length of the piece, forming a straight but flexible design with a solid half for your wrist to rest on. The connection links on the flexible half of the bracelet are faceted and glittering, and contrast beautifully with the alternating smooth contoured links. All of the links are connected using 15k gold pins, and the design comes together at a hidden gold box clasp fit with a safety chain for extra security. This gorgeous bracelet is a fabulous example of Victorian mourning jewelry, and is the perfect addition to any Victorian collection.

Measurements: The interior circumference of the bracelet measures approximately 6 1/2" and the bracelet is 1/2" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent considering its age and provenance. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the onyx links or gold findings. The push clasp and safety chain are secure and in good working condition.
