These diamond and emerald earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era are absolutely exquisite! Made of 15k rose gold, each earring has an elegant design with a breathtaking ensemble of stones, which equal to 2.00ctw. At the center of each earring is a single teardrop emerald cabochon, which moves freely within the circular rose gold earring frame. The exterior ring of the earring features eleven rose cut diamonds that are aligned in a crescent like design. Five additional diamonds decorate the gold earring topper, with the lowest two being held within teardrop shaped bezels. The surmount is attached to a simple gold earring wire for comfortable wear. A dazzling and very feminine pair of Victorian earrings, they would make an exceptional addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 1 3/4" long, measures 3/4" at the widest point, and is 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds and emerald stones are intact. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
