An exquisite diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 15k yellow gold, the ring features seven rose cut diamonds which form a flower motif. The central diamond is held within a scalloped bezel setting, and the remaining six stones are bead set. The flower motif rests upon a gold disc, which is covered by deep blue enameling. The shoulders of the ring feature a continuation of the rich hued enameling, and are also adorned with intricate scrolling motif etchings. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the interior of the shank features a personalized engraving which reads: "1868 & 1887". The inside of the shank also features various hallmarks, which include: "I &S", a small shield, a "15" purity mark, "625", and "D". A truly unique and magnificent example of Victorian craftsmanship, this ring would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring fits a finger size 7.75, but could easily be resized. The tapered band of the ring measures 2.15mm.

Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact. There are a few minor chips in the enamel, but the piece is in fantastic condition given its age.
