Victorian 18k Citrine Riviera Detachable Necklace

An incredible riviera necklace from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this necklace is comprised of alternating prong-set, oval cut, citrine stones and floral-motif links. Although the citrine stones vary slightly in size, they are all incredibly faceted, catching the light with every turn. Furthermore, the side of each oval-shaped link features texturizing engravings. Each floral-motif link features a central, prong-set, round cut citrine, and small, round petals. The center of the riviera features a detachable pendant, which features 4, additional, prong-set citrine stones, and three-dimensional scrolling a foliage-motifs. The base of the detachable pendant features a citrine briolette, which adds incredible movement to the piece. The briolette is topped by a fluted cap, and the backside of the pendant features both a pin clasp and complimentary bail. The necklace secures with a simple push clasp. A once-in-a-lifetime find, this necklace would make an exquisite addition to any antique jewelry collection!

Measurements: The riviera has a total length of 16". The detachable pendant has a height of 2 1/16" and a width of 1 1/2".

Condition: The overall condition of the riviera necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the citrine stones are intact and securely set. The detachable pendant 's pin clasp and bail are both secure and in working order. The push clasp, which secures the necklace, is intact and in working order.
