A beautiful pair of coral earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, each earring begins with a round coral cabochon surmount. The earrings then feature a long, teardrop-shaped coral link, which is topped with a gold cap. The bottom of each teardrop-shaped link features a small, three-dimensional gold ball. The coral stones display a lovely reddish-orange hue, which wonderfully contrasts the yellow gold setting. The earrings are completed by simple lever backs, which are each marked with a "750" purity mark. A gorgeous pair, these earrings would be a perfect addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 3/8” long in total length, and measure just under 1/4" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or coral stones. The levers backs are secure and in working order.
