A breathtaking sapphire and diamond halo ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k gold, this ring features a solitaire 1.50ct oval-cut sapphire. The magnificent stone is held within a multi-prong setting and is a color-changing Ceylon sapphire. The stone has not been treated with heat, and displays both a vivid deep purplish-blue hue, and in other lighting a dark red hue. The sapphire is surrounded by a halo of mine cut diamonds, which are held within shared-prong settings and have an approximate total carat weight of 1.50ctw. The diamonds display H/J and VS1-SI1 clarity. The shoulders of the ring feature an engraved pillar-motif design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The ring is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #1236777709, which provides more information on the sapphire. A truly one-of-a-kind piece, this ring would make a fantastic addition to any antique jewelry collection!

Measurements: The ring is a size 6, but could be easily resized up or down if desired. The band has a width of 1.58mm.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The central sapphire, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
