Victorian 18k/Sterling Silver Sapphire and Diamond Graduated Bar Pin

A beautiful sapphire and diamond bar pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold topped with sterling silver, this piece features 26 rose cut diamonds and a single sapphire. The diamonds graduate towards the center of the pin and weigh an approximate total of 1.5ctw. The sapphire is held into place by a four-pronged seting, and the body of the pin has a polished surface with lovely etched details. The pin clasp is secured by a hidden lever. It has a wonderful Victorian look and would make a special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The pin measures approximately 3 1/2" long. The bar pin measures slightly less than 1/4" wide and the sapphire measures about 1/4" in diameter.

Condition: The pin is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the 18k yellow gold or sterling silver topping. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The sapphire is in excellent condition. The pin clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
