A wonderful bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold, a charming, silver-topped bulldog is decorated with glittering Rose Cut diamonds. delicate green enamel dots its eyes, and a soft pink enamel decorates its tongue below its detailed nose and snout. The bulldog has darling golden ears and its very own crown! Below the dog, there is a single Old Mine Cut diamond weighing approximately 0.50ctw in wonderful H color and SI2 clarity. Rose Cut diamonds flank the entire design, adding delightful sparkle. The knife-edge band is double hinged with a simple push clasp, further secured by a safety chain. This piece is perfect for any canine lover!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet, where a wrist would rest, measures 2 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" tall. The bracelet measures 5/32" wide and 1/8" deep. The dog measures 9/16" wide and is approximately 11/32" deep.
Condition: The bracelet is in good antique condition. There are minor damages to the gold knife edge above the design, but it is not noticeable when the bracelet is worn and does not detract from its overall beauty. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
