A stunning fancy English watch chain from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful necklace is made of 9k rosy gold and is comprised of wonderfully detailed, large textured links. Each oval link has an interlocking design, and a fine ridged motif traces along the sides of every other link. Alternating with the textured links are smooth oblong links in the same size, perfectly complimenting the textured pieces. The chain fastens at a swivel clasp and a stationary dog clip can be found at the opposite end of the watch chain. The watch chain features a bar at the center, dangling from a small piece of chain. When worn, the necklace has a choker length and a pendant or locket could be added if desired to one of the clips. It's a lovely Victorian piece that would make a marvelous addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the necklace measures approximately 16.5" long. The chain weighs 23.2g.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the links and clasps are in good condition.
