A breathtaking emerald and diamond ring converted from a Russian-made bracelet from the late Victorian (ca1890) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and sterling silver, this stunning ring features an exquisite approximately 2.00ct emerald cut emerald, which is held within a prong setting. The central stone is bordered by 10 old mine cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.60ctw. The diamonds rest in shared coronet settings, forming a halo centerpiece. The contrast between the vivid green emerald and the sparkling diamond border is simply spectacular! The vivid ribbed yellow gold band is smooth and has cathedral-style shoulders where the band meets the center. Although the ring itself does not feature any maker's marks or hallmarks, the bracelet from which the stone was removed featured Russian hallmarks. A truly magnificent ring, it makes a stunning statement when worn. It would make an exceptional piece for special occasions, or a very special gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could easily be re-sized if desired. The ring's emerald and diamond centerpiece measure approximately 5/8" wide and 5/8" tall. The ring has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or sterling silver setting, or to the emerald and diamond stones, all of which are intact.
