A beautiful arrow-shaped pin or brooch from the Victorian (ca1880) period! This delicate piece is made of silver-topped 15k rosy yellow gold and has a lovely diamond-encrusted design. A single white pearl sits at the center of the arrow stem. Lining the feathers of the tail are rows of gorgeously chubby old mine cut diamonds. The arrow head has a complimentary design, comprised of six old mine cut diamonds, bead set in the sterling topped setting. The approximate carat weight of all the diamonds combined is 90 points. Included with this gorgeous brooch is the original antique blue velvet box. The back of the brooch reveals a long straight pin with a simple hook catch. A gorgeous Victorian arrow brooch, it would look wonderful worn everyday or saved for special occasions!
Measurements: The total length of the arrow measures 2 3/4" long from end to end and is 1/2" wide at its widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling topped gold setting, and all of the diamonds and the pearl are intact. The pin can be opened easily and fastens securely into place when worn.
