Victorian Sterling Pools of Light Claw Pendant Necklace

An absolutely stunning pools of light claw pendant necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This incredible piece is comprised of a sterling silver pendant which hangs from a complimentary sterling snake chain. The pendant forms the shape of an ornate claw which is grasping a small pools of light sphere within its talons. A scalloped surface at the top of the pendant depicts a scaly texture, making the claw appear to be very realistic. It's a gorgeous and rare pendant and the necklace would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurements: The sterling chain measures approximately 20" in total length. The pendant hangs about 1" long (including the bail) and is approximately 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver settings. The pools of light sphere shows one or two minor scratches from normal wear. The bail, chain and clasp are all secure and in good working condition.
