A phenomenal sterling silver chain from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This long and intricate chain is comprised of ellipse-shaped links, which feature a unique swirling-motif detail. The decorative links are connected by smooth and simple oval-shaped links, and the piece features both a watch swivel and spring ring clasp. However, due to the length of the piece, the chain could be slipped on and off easily. A one-of-a-kind chain, this piece would look lovely worn alone or paired with other complementary Victorian-era chains!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures 60" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling links or to the swatch swivel and spring ring clasps, which both fasten securely and are in good working condition.
