A fantastic sterling bangle from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this thick bangle features a beautiful enameled portrait. The square-shaped portrait depicts lovely blooming flowers and luscious green leaves. The enameling incorporates hues such as butter yellow, royal blue, green, and pink. The front surface of the bracelet is also decorated with scrolling and foliage-motif engravings, and the top and bottom edges of the bangle feature three dimensional silver balls. The back half of the bangle is smooth and simple, and the piece secures with a hidden push clasp. A delicate, yet substantial piece, this bracelet would make a lovely addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The surface of the bracelet measures about 1 1/4" wide. The inside opening (where your wrist would fit) measures 2 1/8" wide and approximately 2" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling silver bangle and the enameled panel is intact and free of any chips or scratches. The push clasp is secure and in working order.
