A charming pair of opal earrings from the Vintage (ca1970s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a gold surmount, which is represented by a wheat-sheaf. The earrings then feature another dangling component, which features a central, prong-set opal. Both opals display vibrant flashes of green, red, blue, and orange. The opals are surrounded by a twisting wirework frame. The earrings are completed by simple posts and friction backs, which are marked with a "14K" purity mark. A colorful pair, these earrings would make a lovely addition to any Vintage-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 1" long and measures just under 1/2" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the posts and friction backs are secure and in working order. Both opals are intact and securely set.
