A fabulous and colorful opal pendant necklace from the Vintage (ca1970s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this necklace begins with a unique gold chain, which is comprised of oblong links and dainty cable chain. The chain secures with a spring ring clasp, which is marked with a "14K" purity mark. The chain is accompanied by a lovely pendant, which features a teardrop-shaped, prong-set opal stone. The opal displays vibrant flashes of red, green, blue and orange. The top of the pendant also features a small, prong-set modern round brilliant cut diamond, which adds an extra "sparkle" to the piece. The backside of the pendant features an additional "14K" purity mark and a diamond-shaped hallmark, which is accompanied by an interior "S" marking. A gorgeous pendant necklace, this piece would look lovely worn alone or paired with other Vintage-era necklaces!
Measurements: The chain has a length of 16", and the pendant has a length of 1" and a width of 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold chain, and the spring ring clasp is secure and in working order. The opal and diamond pendant is intact and securely attached to the chain.
